About the Role

Prison officers protect the public and help make an impact on prisoners' lives. This role is at HMP Styal, part of the Women's Prison Group, working exclusively with female applicants (occupational requirement under Sch 9 Equality Act 2010).

You'll work directly with prisoners, acting as peacekeeper, counsellor, or teacher. Building constructive relationships with prisoners who may be at the lowest point in their lives.
