Job Description
As part of the HR Supplier Performance Team within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] HR Operations, you will make a significant contribution to the management of HR suppliers and the governance framework. This will include the robust management of all suppliers (e.g., Payroll, Occupational Health Services, Employee Assistance Programme and Career Transition Service) and monitoring the delivery of those HR transactional services to the business, identifying areas for service improvements and escalating service failures through relevant governance channels, whilst ensuring value for money. You will also play a part in the introduction and implementation of future projects and programmes, both within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and the wider-[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting effective working relationships with 3rd party HR transactional suppliers such as SSCL Pay & Resourcing Optima Occupational Health and Civil Service HR Casework, coordinating and supporting the management of services to ensure they are reliable and timely for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] employees.
- Working closely with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] HR and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] HR colleagues to improve service delivery across HR, supporting the HR Supplier Performance Manager in delivering projects and initiatives to drive improved effectiveness.
- Working within the HR Supplier Performance team to proactively engage with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] employees and line managers about the service they receive and how it can be improved or developed, through engagement activities and regular feedback requests.
- Supporting the delivery of data and information in line with relevant data quality standards and escalating any data breaches through the appropriate channels where necessary.
Person Specification (Essential Skills)
- Experience of working with HR-related service providers
- Experience of supporting the management of supplier or service performance, including handling service issues or escalations within agreed processes or frameworks
- Experience of working with service performance data, management information and/or reporting to monitor delivery and support service improvement
- Experience of working across organisational or functional boundaries, including with external suppliers or partner organisations, to resolve issues and improve outcomes
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to influence in a positive and collaborative way
- Strong programmatic approach to delivering solutions
- Desire to simplify complex issues and identify practical applications
