Community Care Assistant

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Community Care Assistant in Inverness to provide support to a female client with Autonomic Dysreflexia and Tetraplegia. This is a full-time community-based role offering £14.12 to £16.32 per hour.

Shift Pattern

08:30 - 15:30 | 08:30 - 12:30 | 17:30 - 22:30 | 18:30 - 22.30

About the Role

Female client with Autonomic Dysreflexia. She has a spinal cord injury following a fall resulting in Tetraplegia. Applicants need to be flexible to cover shifts in rotation. Applicants are required to have a full UK driving licence as the client has her own mobility vehicle.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and daily living support.
  • Assist with an exercise programme and mobility needs.
  • Prepare meals and drinks.
  • Support with light administrative tasks.
  • Drive and accompany the client to work and community activities.
  • Promote independence, dignity and choice at all times.

What You Need

  • At least three months of paid UK care experience, or relevant personal care experience.
  • Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Good spoken and written English.
