Community Care Assistant - Port Talbot

Rate: £16.07 to £19.99 per hour

About the role

Applicants who are drivers are preferred. This is a long term, consistent placement supporting one client in their own home and within the community.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and daily living support.
  • Assist with an exercise programme and mobility needs.
  • Prepare meals and drinks.
  • Support with light administrative tasks.
  • Drive and accompany the client to work and community activities.
  • Promote independence, dignity and choice at all times.

What you need

  • At least six months of paid UK care experience, or relevant personal care experience.
  • Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Good spoken and written English.
