Support Worker (Mental Health)

About the role

Role: Mental Health Support Worker. Pay: £16.17 to £19.99 per hour. Shifts: 21:00-07:00 waking nights. You will support children or adults experiencing mental health challenges, helping them live with dignity and independence. This role requires experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour and mental health needs. It is a chance to make a real difference.

Applicants will be providing care over waking nights supporting our client with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD).

Responsibilities

• Personal care and support, assisting with daily tasks to ensure comfort and wellbeing
• Challenging behaviour support, responding with empathy and professionalism
• Crisis intervention, providing support during difficult moments
• Promoting independence, building confidence and life skills
• Medication support, ensuring safe and timely administration
• Specialist clinical care, supporting complex needs with compassion and skill

Requirements

• At least 6 months of professional care experience, or experience caring for a loved one in the UK
• Confidence supporting people with mental health challenges
• The right to work in the UK
• A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
