Role Overview

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is recruiting experienced Residential Support Workers to support children and young people in residential childcare settings in Newtown. You will help create a safe, stable environment where young people feel valued and heard.

Your Role

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and young people.
  • Support daily routines, education, and independence.
  • Help young people manage emotions and behaviours safely.
  • Provide a calm and reliable presence during both positive and challenging situations.
  • Work closely with the wider care team to deliver consistent, high quality care.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least six months of paid care experience within the last three years.
  • At least three months’ experience supporting children or young people, ideally in a regulated environment.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Driving and/or regular access to a vehicle is advantageous.
  • A caring, resilient and professional approach.
