Job Type: Part-time, Fixed-term (18 hours per week)

Job Description

To provide a comprehensive administrative service to the medical and nursing teams within the ward environment at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s University Hospital Wishaw.

  • Provide a high quality administrative service for the medical and nursing staff to ensure efficiency in patient care.
  • Ensure availability of case notes at the time of patient admission, liaising with other hospitals as needed.
  • Deal with telephone and face-to-face enquiries from staff, patients, relatives, and carers.
  • Responsible for arranging review appointments and transport to facilitate the patient journey.

Requirements

  • Good basic education
  • Basic understanding of office procedures
  • Proficient in use of software systems
  • Good organisational and communication skills
