Salaried GP
We are looking for either part or full time Salaried GPs to join our practice in West Cumbria. We are seeking professional and motivated GPs who are committed to delivering high quality, patient centred care. We are also able to offer a skilled worker sponsorship (tier 2) for the right candidates.
Main duties of the job
- Surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence
- Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems
- Assessing health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
- Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
- Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients
- Providing counselling and health education
- Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers
- Recording clear consultation notes and issuing computer generated prescriptions

Person Specification
Essential: Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and inclusion on the NHS England Performers List; with evidence of up-to-date clinical practice and commitment to high standards of patient care.
