School Minibus Driver

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a School Minibus Driver. Part-time, 24 hours per fortnight, job share. Salary £7342.32 actual (£27,168 FTE). Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire. Closing date: 22 May 2026 midday.

What you’ll be doing

At [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], we run a fleet of minibuses and MPVs to ensure our girls are safely and comfortably transported to and from school. We are looking for a minibus driver to join our professional and conscientious team. You will work 24 hours per fortnight, term time only, as part of a job share.

The shift patterns are as follows:

  • 06:45 - 08:30 and then 15:15 - 17:25, plus fueling and washing of the bus

What skills and experience you’ll bring to the role

  • A valid Cat D1 classification on your driving licence plus an acceptable driving record
  • Have/be prepared to take the MIDAS qualification
  • The ability to react calmly in emergency situations
  • Over 21 years of age
  • Have/be prepared to take a suitable First Aid qualification
  • Maintaining good customer relations with parents and the school and contributing to a good atmosphere on the bus
