Audio Visual (AV) Technician - Part Time
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a part-time AV Technician in Northampton, Northamptonshire. Permanent contract, salary £13,585.50 actual (£27,171 FTE).

The purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth running of the audio-visual systems to facilitate Teaching and Learning, and to provide technical and practical support to pupils, staff and external hirers across the theatre.
Skills and Experience Required
- Knowledge of audio mixing desks (mixers)
- Knowledge of audio and video equipment including cabling
- Knowledge of stage lighting and lighting desks
- Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of multiple DAWs (Reaper, Cubase, Audacity etc.)
- Experience of diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- Experience of recording and editing audio, video and image files
- Experience of Microsoft Office products
- Experience of stage lighting and lighting desks
- Experience of mixing live audio
- Experience of video recording live events
- Experience of photographing events for publication
- Experience of providing advice and guidance to users in their use of AV equipment
- Experience of working in education
- Experience creating content for social media
