Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Public Health Intelligence Analyst to provide high quality analytical support focused on community safety and domestic abuse. You will be part of a high performing Public Health Intelligence Team that supports evidence-based decision making across the Council and its partnerships. The team is respected, collaborative, and trusted to provide insight that genuinely influences strategy and frontline delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Turning complex domestic abuse and community safety data into clear, powerful insights
  • Building dashboards, reports and briefings that shape commissioning, services and policy
  • Supporting the JSNA, needs assessments and performance reviews
  • Working with partners across public health, community safety and safeguarding to improve outcomes
  • Ensuring data is robust, ethical and securely handled, especially sensitive information

Requirements

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in statistics, epidemiology, public health, GIS or a related analytical field
  • Strong experience analysing complex local authority data sets
  • Applied knowledge of statistical methods and performance analysis
  • Experience using BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI and/or GIS
