Residential Support Worker - Phoenix House
This is a permanent, full-time position at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s Phoenix House Children's Home in Bedlington, UK. Salary: £28,598 - £31,022 per year (full-time equivalent) plus enhancement for unsocial hours.
About the Role
At Phoenix House we have three young people (aged between 9 and 12) able to live with us at one time. These young people are here through no fault of their own and have often had a troubled start. Through positive interventions by a skilled team, they are supported to address emotional, social, and educational needs. Your personal qualities will help create an environment of reflection, challenge, and specialist help. You will work to a shift pattern including early and late shifts with some sleeping-in duties. You must be willing to complete the Diploma Level 3 in Residential Child Care.
