Acute dietitian
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an HCPC registered dietitian to join their team. The role involves inpatient stroke care and outpatient gastroenterology services at West Middlesex University Hospital and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
Main duties of the job
- Cover stroke rehab and senior health inpatient ward
- Support dietetic gastroenterology outpatient service
- Promote high quality, respectful, and equitable service
- Provide professional development to dietitians and support workers
- Develop, implement and evaluate policies and guidelines with MDT
- Based primarily at West Middlesex University Hospital site with some outpatient work at Chelsea and Westminster site

Person Specification
Essential
- HCPC Registration
- Wide variety of post registration clinical experience
- Experience working with stroke patients
- Experience of working as part of an MDT in clinical practice
- Evidence of working in supervisory capacity
- Evidence of ongoing CPD since qualification
- Evidence of participation in research or audit or in service training
- Experience in dietetic gastroenterology outpatient clinics including FODMAP
- Experience of managing enterally fed patients
Desirable
- Member of special interest group
- Experience of managing patients on parenteral nutrition
Salary and Contract
Salary: £45,953 to £54,254 a year (Band 6, Agenda for Change). Permanent, full-time contract.
