FULL DESCRIPTION

Team Administrator (District Nursing)

We are looking to recruit a Full-time Team Administrator for the Hillingdon District Nursing Service. The post holder will be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality clerical support to one of the District Nursing Teams.

  • Salary: £30,630 to £32,346 a year
  • Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Main duties of the job

  • Deal with telephone enquiries from health professionals, service users, carers and team members in an informed and sympathetic manner.
  • Process referrals, maintain databases (S1, SystmOne), and assist with clinical audits.
  • Provide administrative support for clinicians, including word processing, archiving, and procurement.
  • Organise meetings, take minutes, and coordinate training.
  • Support the team with Healthroster, Datix, and other systems.

Person Specification

  • Qualifications: GCSE (A*-C) or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Experience: Experience in an administrative capacity; Understanding of Data Protection/Confidentiality; Understanding of Equal Opportunities and Diversity
  • Skills: Demonstrable knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, MS Teams and Excel; Accurate data entry and typing skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work to a high level of accuracy; Ability to work unsupervised; Excellent time management skills; Ability to work within a team
