What is required from you? A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK. There is one full-time position available working 36 hours per week, to include alternate weekends. There is also one part-time position available working 24 hours per week, including alternate weekends. Must be flexible to work night shifts. A day in the life of a Care Assistant includes: companionship, personal care, medication assistance, meals support, domestic tasks, mobility support, and social activities.

Main Duties

  • Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
  • Personal care - supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
  • Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
  • Meals - Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
  • Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
