We're now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant - Nights at Knowle Gate Care Home in Knowle. Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include: Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation. Being involved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Main Duties of the Job
We're now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant - Nights at Knowle Gate Care Home in Knowle. Your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include monitoring resident wellbeing, being involved in care planning, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions. You'll act as a key contact for residents, relatives, and visitors, ensuring requests are addressed and any concerns are escalated.

About the Role
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
- Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans.
- Being involved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
- Acting as a key point for contact with residents, relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals.
About You

- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Positive attitude to both supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
