Physiotherapist Band 5 Rotation

Job Summary
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our rotations within our Therapy department. This is a fixed-term post to cover maternity leave until 23rd March 2027.
You will carry a varied caseload and gain experience across a variety of rotations within acute services, including ICU/surgery, respiratory medicine, amputee rehabilitation, orthopaedics, medicine, stroke and musculoskeletal outpatients (across 2 sites including hydrotherapy, gym rehab classes and Women's Health).
Requirement to work across 7 day service and participate in a on-call rota, Bank Holidays and some extended hours as part of our 7-day service.
Successful candidates will need to be flexible, autonomous practitioners who are able to manage a caseload, use evidence based/patient centred principles to assess, plan and deliver care to their patients.
Main Duties of the Job
The key function of this role is mainly clinical and concentrates on the assessment of patients referred to the service.
The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner and will have the support of a senior therapist, and be part of the planning and implementation of therapy intervention in partnership with patients under their care.
These posts are rotational to ensure a rounded learning opportunity.

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma/MSc Pre Reg in Physiotherapy
- If a student, must be in the final 6 months of course
- Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) registration
Personal Qualities
- Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, relatives and patients
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge across the range of Physiotherapy practices in the physical field
- Relevant undergraduate experience in acute setting at student level or sound knowledge base and ability to adapt
Interests & Motivation to the job
- Basic knowledge of principles and practice of clinical governance and its application to Physiotherapy
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Able to work as an autonomous practitioner in a defined clinical area
- Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, at all levels
