About the Role

You'll work closely with residents, helping design engaging activities, plan events, and provide companionship. The role demands flexibility, as you'll need to work 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Companionship - providing support, companionship, communication and engagement with residents
- Creating activities - designing an engaging activities plan both internally and with external resources
- Event planning - planning events such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties for residents
- Resident interaction - engaging with residents to identify activities they want
- External communications - coordinating with entertainers and businesses for visits
- Mobility support - assisting residents to live independently through activities like Zumba, ballroom, balloon tennis
- Social activities - organizing trips and social engagements for all abilities
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
- Previous experience in organising activities or in an activities type role
- Must be flexible to work 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends
