We are delighted to offer a unique opportunity for a Salaried General Practitioner to join our friendly team. As participants in the new National General Practice Pilot (NGPP) you will have the chance to help shape the future of General Practice.
Main duties of the job
The salaried GP will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care as part of the practice's clinical team. Responsibilities include consulting with patients for acute, chronic and preventive healthcare needs, managing undifferentiated presentations and ensuring safe follow-up and continuity of care. The role involves face-to-face and remote consultations, requesting and interpreting investigations, completing medication reviews, prescribing within governance policies and undertaking home visits when required.

Job responsibilities
- Delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
- Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
- Effective management of long-term conditions
- Processing of administration including referrals, repeat prescription requests
- Telephone triage and duty doctor roles on a rotational basis
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Home visits and extended hours cover
- Contribute to QOF, audits, and quality improvement
Person Specification
Qualifications: MRCGP, GMC full registration with licence to practise, CCT in General Practice, inclusion on NHS GP Performers List, right to work in UK.
Experience: Excellent communication skills, MS Office, evidence-based medicine, experience with Integrated Care Boards, QOF, audits, clinical governance, incident investigations.
