Main Duties of the Job
As the Deputy Manager - RGN at Rosebery Manor Care Home in Epsom, [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] offers an exciting opportunity in a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role focuses on supporting the General Manager in operating a compliant, person-centred care home while meeting professional, statutory standards and commercial targets. Responsibilities include inspiring leadership for the staff team, adhering to medication policies, monitoring resident wellbeing, and conducting audits and reports. The candidate must hold a first-level qualification, current NMC registration, and have at least two years of experience in a similar care environment with management responsibilities. Excellent leadership and communication skills, along with IT competence, flexibility, and adaptability, are essential. A DBS check and proof of UK work eligibility are required.

Job Responsibilities
- Providing on-going inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
- Ensuring that medication policies and procedures are adhered to and support with the reviewing of medication and administration.
- Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans.
- Completing monthly audits, quality indicator report and any other report as required.
- Attending weekly clinical meetings and monitor clinical risk areas in the home.
About You

- Hold a first-level qualification and a current NMC registration
- Have a minimum of two years experience working in a similar care environment, in a management position.
- Have excellent leadership and management skills.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and be competent in use of IT systems.
- Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
