Care Assistant

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Care Assistant to join their award-winning team at Southbourne Beach Care Home in Bournemouth. This is a full-time, permanent position offering £13.30 per hour.

Job Summary

Your role as Care Assistant will include delivering high standards of personal care, assisting with personal hygiene while ensuring dignity and respect, recognizing clinical risks, and acting courteously toward residents and visitors. Experience is not required as we provide comprehensive training.

Main Duties

  • Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect.
  • Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections and escalating appropriately.
  • Acting courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.
  • Practicing safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
