FULL DESCRIPTION

Speech and Language Therapist

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Speech and Language Therapist to join the Adult Speech and Language Therapy Community Team and Community Stroke team in Nottingham. This is a 9-month fixed term contract, part-time (23.25 hours per week), based at Meadows Health Centre. The role involves delivering high-quality swallowing and communication assessments and interventions for adults with various conditions. Closing date: 12 May 2026.

Person Specification

  • Essential: Relevant post-graduate experience in assessing and managing clients with acquired swallowing and communication disorders (e.g. stroke), MDT working, goal setting
  • Qualifications: Speech & Language Therapy Degree, HCPC licence, RCSLT membership, Post graduate Dysphagia training
  • Knowledge and skills: Well-established assessment and treatment knowledge, specialist dysphagia skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to prioritise caseload
  • Special requirements: Full driving licence, flexibility, ability to work out of hours
