Healthcare Assistant

Job Summary
Are you a caring and motivated individual looking to make a difference in the lives of children and young people with complex health needs? Job Responsibilities
- Support daily living tasks such as personal care, feeding, and dressing
- Develop skills in medication administration, gastrostomy/jejunostomy care, tracheostomy and associated airway care
- Contribute to rehabilitation goals and structured care plans
- Work closely with families and professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Safeguard vulnerable children and champion equality and inclusion
- Work shifts including nights and weekends
Person Specification
Essential: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in children/care work, experience in care work and working with children, ability to travel to site. Desirable: Care Certificate, experience with complex health needs, NHS experience, car driver.
