[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a warm and dedicated Host/Hostess to join their award-winning team at Acorn Lodge Care Home in Nuneaton. This is a permanent, full-time position offering £12.72 an hour.
Job Summary

We’re now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Host/Hostess at Acorn Lodge Care Home in Nuneaton.
Main Duties of the Job
- Prepare serving trollies and clean satellite kitchens
- Lay tables, assist in order taking, and serve meals to residents
- Support residents with choosing meal options at the time of dining
- Assist with dining service and support residents with their meals as directed, including cutlery-free dining
- Ensure dining tables are set in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Ensure menus are displayed and reflective of meal choices for the day
About You
To be successful, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable. Our ideal candidate must have:
- Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene
- Experience working in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel
- Positive attitude towards residents
- Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents
