Care Navigator

We are looking for a Care Navigator to join the team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This is a patient-facing role covering reception duties, managing records, supporting clinical and dispensary colleagues. Part-time, Wednesday to Friday, within 07:30-18:30.

About the Role

We are looking for a Care Navigator to join the team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This is a patient-facing role at the heart of how the practice runs day to day, and we are looking for someone who will bring a calm, friendly and organised approach to supporting our patients and colleagues.

You will work across our sites as needed, as part of a well-established, friendly team.

This is a part-time position to work on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Shifts fall within a working window of approximately 07:30 to 18:30 across those days. Depending on recruitment, hours may be split across more than one person.

The role covers the full range of day-to-day practice administration from reception duties and managing records, to supporting clinical and dispensary colleagues and keeping the practice running smoothly.

About the Candidate

To be considered for this position, you will have the following experience and attributes;

Essential:

  • GCSE grade A to C in English and Math
  • Experience in a busy customer-facing or administrative role, where dealing with people and managing competing demands was a core part of the job
  • Confident using the telephone and computers and standard office equipment; able to pick up new systems and processes without difficulty

Desirable:

  • Experience in a healthcare or NHS setting is helpful but not essential we are happy to support the right person to develop in the role
  • Calm, warm and professional when dealing with patients and colleagues
  • Listens carefully and records information accurately
  • Organised, reliable and takes their responsibilities seriously
  • Works well as part of a team and is willing to support colleagues
  • Has good IT skills and picks up new systems with confidence
  • Has previous experience in a customer-facing or administrative role
