Shifts: Day Shifts - Monday to Sunday
Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks pro rota

Overview
We are looking for several Domestic/Laundry Assistants to join our Limetree Nursing team on a part time or full-time basis, various contracts available. The shifts are days from 9am to 4pm or 9am to 1pm, Monday to Sunday. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is an equal opportunities employer. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Laundry Operations: Safely operate laundry machines, organise personalised laundry system for residents, follow washing instructions, attach identity labels, maintain laundry room cleanliness.
- Cleaning Duties: Clean designated areas according to schedule, thoroughly clean vacant rooms, attend to plants and flowers.
- Resident Care and Confidentiality: Respect privacy, dignity, and choice of residents. Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Communication and Reporting: Report breakages, faulty equipment, accidents, incidents, and near misses to Home Manager. Attend staff meetings and training.
- Additional Duties: Assist in other departments as requested, perform any reasonable duties.
- Health and Safety: Comply with company policies, take precautions against cross infection, wear protective clothing, maintain equipment, adhere to fire safety, COSHH, and manual handling policies.
Essential Criteria
- No experience necessary
Desirable Criteria
- Previous laundry experience in work or voluntary setting
- Previous domestic experience in work or voluntary setting
- Experience working within a Residential/Nursing Home or similar environment
The applicant should have:
- Ability to strictly follow safety and cleaning guidelines (e.g., COSHH)
- Good Communication Skills
- Ability to organize daily workload
