Support Worker

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Support Worker for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in Swansea. Full and part time hours available. Salary £13.45 to £13.75 per hour dependant on experience and qualifications, plus an annual location allowance of £1500.

Whether you’re experienced in care or just starting your journey, we’ll give you the training, guidance, and support you need.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
  • Providing support during recreational activities, outings and community integration – this includes swimming, cycling, rugby/football, rock climbing, surfing and running.
  • Promoting independence, self-esteem, confidence and celebrating their achievements and milestones.
  • Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.
  • General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.

We’re looking for someone with heart, drive and a true commitment to supporting others.

  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
  • A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
  • A full UK driving licence – essential for supporting our individuals with transport to appointments and activities.
  • The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable).
  • No experience needed — just passion, patience, and commitment!

Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
