FULL DESCRIPTION

Food Service Assistant

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for a dedicated Food Service Assistant to join our Catering Team at County Enterprise Foods, Worksop, Nottinghamshire. This is a permanent, on-site role with Monday to Friday hours, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Also known as a General Production Assistant, you will support the Meals on Wheels service across Nottinghamshire.

Your Responsibilities

  • Working on a production line portioning main meals and desserts
  • Assisting with the preparation of meals for the Meals on Wheels service
  • Following allergen control procedures (training provided)
  • Cleaning kitchen areas, equipment, and production spaces
  • Working at times in chilled or frozen zones (full clothing and equipment provided)
  • Supporting the wider catering and production team to meet daily targets
  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene, health and food safety are maintained

  • Catering or food production experience is desirable but not essential
  • Willingness to learn (full training provided)
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
