About the Role

Based at New Mills Nursery School, High Peak, SK22 4AQ, you will be working 12.5 hours a week, Mon-Fri 7am-8am & 4pm-5.30pm. You'll play a key role in providing high-quality caretaking services to oversee maintenance and cleanliness.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs.
• Making sure that heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly.
• Carrying out and recording basic checks and maintaining Health and Safety records.
• Monitoring site stocks and undertaking cleaning duties.
• Demonstrating Health and Safety awareness and willingness to attend training.
• Ad-hoc duties for council meetings & events (setting up rooms, tea/coffee).
• Cleaning including deep cleans during closed hours, using cleaning machines.
• PAT Testing experience desirable; basic maintenance knowledge helpful.
