ICT Teacher
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] has an exciting opportunity available for a passionate and creative ICT Teacher to join our teaching team based at Guildford College.
- Location: Guildford
- Job Type: Permanent / Full-time (37 hours/week)
- Salary: £31,387 - £43,869 per annum

About the Role
You will be responsible for teaching across Level 2 IT and T-Level Digital Software Development. The post holder will be required to have a range of abilities within ICT and Digital Technologies, including programming, GDPR and other legislation, digital environments, the fundamentals of cyber-security, and design. You will also act as a personal tutor and study programme owner, providing pastoral and academic support to students.
What You Need to Be Successful
- It is desirable if you have a PGCE and worked within education as a teacher, but this is not essential
- You will have worked in the industry and are an IT specialist
- A passion for using this experience to develop the skills of the future generation
- A working knowledge of T Levels would be an advantage
- Preferably have a range of programming knowledge (e.g., Python, HTML, JavaScript, PHP)
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
