About the role
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are now looking for a Sports Teacher to join our established teaching team at our Oxford Campus. We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and passionate individuals with the ability to inspire, so that our sports students have a memorable learning experience. With your excellent subject knowledge and practice skills you will work collaboratively with our existing team of talented and passionate teachers to ensure we plan and deliver purposeful practical and theory lessons up to level 3. This is a permanent, Full time role based at City of Oxford College.
What do you need to be successful?
- A level 3 qualification in Sports is essential.
- Experience of sports coaching, sport therapy or working in the sports/fitness industry is desirable, but not essential.
- It is desirable if you have a teaching qualification and worked within education as a teacher, but this is not essential.
- Your communication and interpersonal skills will be outstanding and support your ability to deliver interesting and purposeful lessons to a diverse range of learners.
- You will also have strong organisation skills coupled with the ability to prioritise workloads.
