[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join their Construction team at Guildford College as a Carpentry Teacher. This full-time permanent role offers a salary up to £42,182 per annum.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our Construction team at Guildford college. If you have knowledge and experience in teaching Carpentry, we would welcome your application! As a Carpentry teacher, you will have passion and enthusiasm for developing and nurturing the next generation of Carpentry professionals. Our Construction & Engineering Faculty has an excellent record of delivering vocational Carpentry courses with employability embedded at their heart. This is achieved through excellent relationships with industry and the employment of experts with extensive professional experience within the teaching team. We deliver well-established and highly successful professionally accredited courses in Carpentry. This is a full time, permanent contract based at Guildford college.
What do you need to be a successful Carpentry Teacher at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]?
- At least a Level 3 NVQ in Site Carpentry and vast industry experience
- Passion for developing the skills of the future generation of skilled Carpenters
- Strong organisation skills coupled with ability to prioritise workloads
- Experience in further education, distance learning and apprenticeships also encouraged
