Senior Trading Operations Analyst

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is representing a leading energy company seeking a dedicated Senior Trading Operations Analyst to support their Trading Operations/back office team.

Location: Remote / some travels required
Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview

Ensure accurate and timely settlement of all trading deals
Provide oversight and challenge to trading processes, ensuring compliance with controls
Collaborate with stakeholders to set up/develop new products and optimise operational workflows
Manage trade validation, data quality, settlement, and documentation
Act as the primary contact for audit and internal control processes
Drive process improvements through automation and standardisation initiatives
Lead projects and work closely with cross-functional teams

Required Experience & Skills

Strong understanding of full trade life cycle
PPA/BESS expertise
Knowledge of UK markets
Experience in commodity markets, deal validation, and settlement tasks
Proficiency with SAP, ETRMs, and MS Office
Background in economics, accounting, or business administration
Strong analytical skills and fluency in English
Ability to work under pressure with high value transactions
