Software Engineer

About the Role

We are representing a leading financial services organisation specialising in commodities trading, seeking to expand their innovative technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity for talented Software Engineers to make a significant impact within a dynamic environment.

Role Overview:

Develop scalable, high-performance automation applications to optimise trading workflows.
Take ownership of the delivery, support, and maintenance of key tools to enhance business efficiency.
Work directly with trading teams to map their workflows, capture business requirements, and highlight areas where processes can be optimised.

Required Experience & Skills:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
Strong programming skills in Python, C#, Java, or C++.
Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD practices, and front-end frameworks.
Prior experience in commodities trading is advantageous but not essential.
