Salary Available Upon Request. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Fforestfach Medical Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking for a longterm role within a wellestablished, patientcentred General Practice. We are looking to fill between 30 and 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for the right candidate(s). The successful candidate must have prior experience working as a Practice Nurse within General Practice and be competent across core practice nursing duties. Experience in cervical screening and chronic disease management is essential. Additional desirable skills include: Independent Prescribing, Minor Illness management. Salary is competitive and in line with local rates, reflective of skills and experience.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic and highly motivated Nurse to deliver and maintain a high standard of nursing care to our patient population. Essential skills include: Treatment Room duties, Chronic Disease Management, Cervical Cytology, Family Planning, Travel Health, Childhood and Adult Immunisations.

An additional Practice Nurse will complement and strengthen our existing nursing structure.

Job responsibilities

The successful candidate will join an established nursing team and work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, while also being able to work autonomously. You will be expected to work in line with practice protocols, local and national guidelines, ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and highquality care tailored to their individual health needs.

Knowledge and Skills - Essential

Qualifications - Essential

• GCSE Grade 1 to C in English and Maths
• Nursing degree and NMC Registered Nurse
• Management of chronic diseases
• Cervical Cytology

• Prior experience working as a Practice Nurse within General Practice
