Clinical Advisor

About the Role
This job opportunity is for a Clinical Advisor position at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], located in Kent. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a not for profit Social Enterprise that provides innovative and patient-focused primary care services. As a Clinical Advisor, you'll be integral to the NHS 111 urgent care system, providing compassionate clinical advice and management to patients in need. You will utilize your clinical expertise and communication skills to conduct complex phone-based triage, supply self-care advice, refer patients as needed, and support call handlers in high-pressure situations. Candidates must be registered Nurses or Paramedics with at least two years of experience in primary care or Emergency Department settings.
Main Duties
- Undertake detailed clinical triage and risk assessment using approved systems
- Provide clear, calm and evidence-based advice to patients and carers
- Support call handlers during escalations and critical incidents
- Make timely clinical decisions in the interests of patient safety
- Contribute to the effective flow of patients through urgent care services

Key Requirements
- Registered Nurse or Paramedic with at least two years of experience in primary care or Emergency Department settings
- Must be able to commit to 8 weeks of full-time training if not already Pathways trained
- Current UK professional registration
- Satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure
