Senior Sexual Health Nurse

Job Summary

Leeds Sexual Health is a busy and dynamic service offering a wide range of services such as STI testing & treatments, contraception advise & provision, pregnancy testing and support, care after sexual assault, vaccinations and care to vulnerable and high-risk groups. The post holder will hold both qualifications in sexual health and contraception such as DFSRH diploma and STIF intermediate with the addition of LoC SDI implant removal, fits, refits, non-medical prescribing and microscopy skills.

Main Duties of the Job

The post holder will be required to move across sites and be able to travel independently to other bases during shifts to cover independent clinics and provide care to vulnerable and hard to reach service users. The role involves supporting wider colleagues, junior staff, nursing and medical trainees. You will also provide support as nurse co-ordinator in the smooth running of clinics and triage emergency and urgent care on the day.
