Senior Clinical Fellow in Trauma & Orthopaedics
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow in Trauma & Orthopaedics based at Prince Charles Hospital, Merthyr Tydfil. This permanent, full-time role involves a 1:8 resident on-site on-call commitment at middle grade level. The job has been closed.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be one of a number of Doctors who will be supported by a team of consultants, middle grades, junior doctors and Nurse Practitioners. The role will cover all aspects of T&O admissions working at Middle Grade level. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who wish to gain wider experience in the specialty in an acute setting. The post holder will be required to work as one of the middle grades on the on call rota. The on-call rota is resident on site. A wide range of general experience is a requirement, and special interests, which complement existing services, will be supported. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main Duties of the Job
- To enhance services within the Clinical Services Group.
- To assist in team building across all Clinical Service Groups and teams.
- Clinical Sessions include: Outpatient Clinics, Theatre Sessions, Ward Rounds, Pre-Operative Assessment, Post-Operative Assessment, On-call.
- There is a 1:8 resident on site on call commitment on a middle grade rota.
