Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for doctors wanting to join our enthusiastic and dynamic team and to gain further experience at senior level in Emergency Medicine and gain associated skills and competencies in a busy Emergency Department and Major Trauma Centre. We are looking for experienced emergency clinicians who are either post CCT or within 4 months of CCT date. Applicants must have full FRCEM. Emergency Medicine training completed (or portfolio pathway) in the NHS is essential. Posts will include up to 20% non-clinical time.

Main Duties

  • Clinical Fellows perform clinical work in the ED as the first doctor to see patients with a range of problems.
  • Senior clinical fellows have the opportunity to run the department, lead resus and paeds shifts, and support junior colleagues.
  • Non-clinical roles may include SIM, ultrasound, trauma governance, research, rota management, recruitment, education.

Qualifications (Essential)

  • CCT obtained in Emergency Medicine in the UK (or due within 4 months of application)
  • Full FRCEM completed
