PCN Salaried GP (ARRS)

Job summary
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] has an exciting opportunity for a GP to work within our thriving PCN.
Please note that as an organisation, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a GP to support our PCN and practices. The successful applicant will be expected to work across more than one practice and should be capable of independent travel and the ability to work flexibly to meet PCN and practice needs. The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all patients.
- Perform as an autonomous general practitioner working independently alongside other health care professionals to assess, diagnose and treat conditions.
- Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues.
- Be professionally accountable and responsible for all elements of clinical practice in accordance with the GMC code of conduct.
- Undertake surgery consultations, telephone/video consultations, home visits, repeat prescriptions and paperwork.
- Make autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems.
- Assess health needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
- Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
- Contribute to QOF and PCN requirements.
