Main Duties

Band 7 Bank Chief Cardiac Physiologist (Echocardiography) required to perform both routine and complex adult echocardiography at Grantham and District Hospital. The band 7 staff are expected to work as independent clinicians with significant clinical autonomy.

Lincolnshire Heart Centre at Lincoln County Hospital provides 24/7 primary PCI and a full range of interventional cardiology. Person Specification

Qualifications (Essential)

• Relevant degree in BSc (Hons) Clinical Physiology / Healthcare Science
• RCCP/AHCS registration
• BSE accreditation or within 12 months of completion
• ILS Certificate

Experience (Essential)

• Experience as a senior physiologist in a relevant area
• Experience in training junior staff

• Ability to work within a team and on own initiative

• Good written/verbal communication skills
• Team leadership skills
• Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and that of others
• Excellent IT skills
• Flexible approach to work
