Job summary

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] has an exciting opportunity for a Salaried GP to join our well-established, 9750-patient semi-rural practice set in the Worcestershire Teme Valley. Tenbury is a small market town on the River Teme, famous for apple growing, The Mistletoe Festival, an interesting range of independent shops and an art deco cinema. Our patch extends up into the south Shropshire Hills with a dispensing branch surgery on Clee Hill. Tenbury is within an easy commute from surrounding towns including Ludlow, Leominster, Worcester and Kidderminster.

Main duties of the job

• 6-8 sessions per week with an interest in training
• Led by 2 GP Partners, working with 4 Salaried GPs, 1 ANP, excellent nursing team and Practice Manager
• Dispensing branch surgery on Clee Hill
• Weekday medical cover for local community hospital
• GP training practice
• Keele University medical students
• Part of Herefordshire PCN with ARRS staff support
• Special clinical interests supported
• Mentorship for recently qualified colleagues
• Daily coffee breaks and protected administration time
• Stable resilient local population
• EMIS Web, Docman, AccuRx and Abtrace

Qualifications

Essential:

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
• Evidence of annual appraisal and re-validation
• General practice (Vocational Training Scheme) trained
• On/eligible to be the medical performers list

Desirable:

• Evidence of continued professional development
• Interest and qualifications in GP training
