Salary: £49,387 to £56,515 a year (Band 7)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Practice Development Nurse for our Emergency Department at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. The role involves leading training programmes, advancing nursing practice, and supporting the development of clinical staff. You will work alongside the practice development team on Trust education and service development plans.
Main Duties of the Job
- Develop and implement training programmes for the emergency department workforce
- Lead provision of development courses/training for all staff
- Interpret Trust communications and present to clinical staff
- Plan and contribute to new educational programmes
- Manage self, deliver to deadlines, and monitor quality of work
- Educate workforce to deliver first line emergency care
- Act as a role model and support high standards of care clinically
- Contribute to teaching and mentoring student nurses
- Design, plan and develop the practice development service
- Submit annual report on practice development in emergency care

Person Specification
Qualifications and Knowledge (Essential)
- Registered General Nurse
- Degree or Diploma
- ENB 998 or similar teaching qualification
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in mentorship, education, and development practice
- Advanced communication skills training
Experience (Essential)
- Relevant experience at band 6 in emergency care approx. 3 years
- Experience of leading and developing clinical practice
Skills (Essential)
- Excellent management skills of self and others
- Ability to facilitate the management of change
- Ability to delegate appropriately
- Computer skills
