Pharmacy Technician

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is hiring a Pharmacy Technician at HMP Bure in Norwich. Permanent full-time role with a salary of £29,264 to £33,510 per annum.

  • Join our Pharmacy team at HMP Bure, a category C men's prison in Badersfield, Norwich.
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 07:30-17:30; Saturday-Sunday 08:30-17:30.
  • Salary: £29,264 - £33,510 per annum depending on experience.
  • Candidates must have legal right to work in the UK. Offers subject to vetting and security checks.

Main Duties

  • Provide outstanding patient-centred care, listening and acting on feedback.
  • Ensure safe and secure medicines management service; maintain patient medical records.
  • Deliver non-judgemental care within professional standards; administer medicines and analyse cost-effective prescribing.
  • Work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
  • Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
  • Experience in hospital, community or prison environment is ideal but not essential
