Job responsibilities

• Where you'll be working: Hazlemere Lodge - High Wycombe

• What is required from you? A minimum of 12 months on your right to work, A background within kitchens and understanding of how to run a professional kitchen, Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or supporting complex dietary requirements is desirable, Must be available to work 27 hours per week including weekends, Kitchen experience in a care home setting is preferable
• A day in the life of a Cook: Menu planning - Collaborating with the home manager and our residents' requests and wishes, you will be able to develop and implement menu ideas. Understanding dietary needs - You will work closely with the wider staff to ensure we are meeting our resident's specific nutritional and dietary needs including modified food textures and allergies. Kitchen Management - You will be the main point of contact for the kitchen and responsible for the day to day running of stock management and hygiene standards

Person Specification

• Essential: A minimum of 12 months on your right to work, a background within kitchens, and an understanding of how to run a professional kitchen. Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or supporting complex dietary requirements is desirable. Kitchen experience in a care home setting is preferable.
