Location: Worcester, Worcestershire

Salary: £25,760 to £27,476 a year (Band 3)

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Support Secretary in the Executive Suite at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s Worcestershire Royal Hospital. We are looking for an organised individual with basic secretarial/administration skills, able to work independently and as part of a team. Recent NHS or administrative experience desirable. Main Duties of the Job

  • Provide efficient administrative support to Executive Assistants and Executive Directors.
  • Diary management (electronically), telephone enquiries, reception cover, managing incoming post, and clerical duties.
  • Reliable, flexible, proactive, and professional approach to ensure smooth running of the Executive Suite.

Person Specification

Knowledge/Skills

  • Essential: Manage conflicting priorities, work on own initiative, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, good telephone skills, good written and verbal communication.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of NHS systems, knowledge of good Health & Safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Essential: GCSEs Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent), educated to Level 3 or above.

Experience

  • Essential: Recent relevant experience in Administrative/Secretarial/Reception role, knowledge of office procedures, previous experience of preparing agendas and papers, experience of electronic diaries.
  • Desirable: Previous relevant NHS experience.
