Salary: £57,528 to £64,750 a year

Job Summary

Taking responsibility for the safe and effective delivery of highly complex technology change, you will play a pivotal role in connecting new blood testing equipment across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] sites into our national digital ecosystem.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Team delivery/performance with clear plans and collaboration.
  • Agile projects/releases via skilled multi-disciplinary teams (incl. 3rd parties) to time/cost/quality.
  • Defining needs into iterative schedules for resource allocation.
  • Removing obstacles, leading planning, overseeing tasks/releases.
  • Product lifecycle (discovery-live) managing risks/issues/dependencies.
  • GDS/NHS standards compliance and live handover.
  • Coaching agile/lean skills.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Educated to Masters level or equivalent demonstrable knowledge and experience.
  • Recognised qualifications in agile and traditional project and delivery management methodology (e.g. Agile Project Management, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master).
  • Demonstrates commitment to own continued professional development (CPD).

Experience

  • Experience of leading and managing traditional and agile delivery teams across the product lifecycle.
  • Experience of leading complex technology projects, motivating multi-disciplinary teams, working with governance bodies.
  • Understand the environment, prioritising tasks, managing complex dependencies.
  • Remove blockers/impediments, develop plans for difficult situations.
  • Experience building delivery teams and managing third-party supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of GDS and NHS Service Standards.
