Senior Electrical Project Manager – Major Commercial MEP Development

  • 24 Month project duration

About the Opportunity: An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join a highly respected building services contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex, large-scale commercial developments across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full operational management of the electrical package on a major commercial MEP project
  • Reporting directly to the Project Director on project performance and strategic delivery
  • Leading employee management, including team welfare, performance, mentorship, and development
  • Ownership of project P&L, ensuring commercial success and financial accountability
  • Managing programme delivery to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved
  • Overseeing quality assurance and ensuring exceptional delivery standards throughout
  • Driving health & safety compliance across all project activities
  • Coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders
  • Risk management, problem-solving, and ensuring smooth project execution from inception to handover

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Project Manager on large-scale commercial or mixed-use developments
  • Strong background in managing high-value MEP/electrical packages
  • Excellent leadership and people management capabilities
  • Commercially astute with strong P&L management experience
  • Deep understanding of programme management, quality control, and H&S regulations
  • Ability to operate strategically while maintaining hands-on project oversight
  • Ambitious, driven, and capable of delivering high-profile projects successfully
