Teacher of Education & Early Years (T Level)

  • Reference: TeachT/24
  • Salary: Salary in the range £30,500 - £47,133 pa pro rata. Actual salary £11,590 - £17,910 per annum. To start in September 2024
  • Hours: 10 sessions a week including a tutor group (0.38 FTE). The days of work are likely to be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday although these could change in future.
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Start Date: August 2024

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a vibrant sixth form college in Winchester which has been rated by Ofsted as ‘outstanding’ in every respect. We have a large team of committed and talented staff who are at the heart of the success of the College.

The NCFE T level in Education & Early Years provides students with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to enter employment in this field or to progress to higher education. We have three part time staff in the team, who have a wealth of expertise and enjoy well appointed classrooms and excellent on-line resources. We have a part time, permanent vacancy for 10 sessions a week including a tutor group (0.38 FTE). The days of work are likely to be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday although these could change in future.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in teaching similar qualifications and either a degree in primary education or significant work experience in the sector. Above all, you will have a passion for the subject and the ability to share your enthusiasm and knowledge with our students.

Please note that posts advertised to start in September 2024 actually commence with student enrolment at the end of August. Teaching staff are required to work this week but should you have an existing commitment please make this clear on your application and we will honour it.
