About the Role

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is currently recruiting for a teacher to join the Physics Department, a thriving department with excellent facilities.

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a vibrant sixth form college in Winchester which has been rated by Ofsted as 'outstanding' in every respect. We have a large team of committed and talented staff who are at the heart of the success of the College.

Physics is a popular subject within the College, with about 500 students across the two year groups. The teaching team consists of six full timers supported by two highly experienced technicians. We currently follow the AQA linear specification, and make extensive use of online resources as well as our well-equipped dedicated accommodation. Results are very good, with the department consistently rated 'outstanding' in recent years.

We have a vacancy for a full time Teacher of Physics on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a good academic degree in Physics or a closely related subject and we welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.

Please note that posts advertised to start in September 2024 actually commence with student enrolment in the last week of August. Teaching staff are required to work this week but should you have an existing commitment please make this clear on your application and we will honour it.
